Hitting the ground running is an understatement, we have had one week of training and our U9-U10 played matches last weekend in Milford. Overall, we were pleased with the attention and tempo of training. We installed a lot with the players last week and we are getting to know our new members and they us. There was some good leadership and responsibility shown by our groups in understanding that coaches were pretty scattered. We tried to place our teams in the appropriate competitive levels as we had new players who had an impact on our playing groups. It is always my goal, as Director, to see each team play in a tournament weekend. I was unable to see three of our teams play but rest assured they, and you, will see enough of me this season. This is a continuous process and we will continue to adjust as the season goes on. Having said that, we still have to keep the long term picture in mind when we are watching our players perform and this is a snapshot of where they are as individuals. Where your player is now is not where they will be in two months let alone in two years. Please enjoy them as they grow, I know we do!
U10 Gold Girls Finalists!!!! Scored 3 goals in the finals, unfortunately only one was for us.
